Born in the Bronx, NY Melissa Green has been acting since the age of seven. She immersed herself in classical movies studying the context of her favorite character and passionately watching the storyline.
The passion led her to attend LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts,which is home to Al Pacino, Robert Dinero, Nikki Minag, Jennifer
Aniston and many other famous artists, filmmakers and musicians. With a vigorous passion for learning more about the entertainment industry, Melissa attended CUNY where she studied Multimedia Journalism.
While Studying at CUNY she published her first story entitled Lupus in The Bronx –where she detailed the Community devastation and response to this silent disease.
Her love for comedy led her to writing, performing sketch comedy. Currently, she performs standup in comedy clubs all across the NYC. She also is developing a web series to showcase her talent in a new light.
Melissa can be seen on the YouTube series The African Millennials-where she talks politics, social injustices, arts and music; and other topics affecting the lives of people of New York today.
At the CTV NY, Melissa is one of the founding Board Members and she looks after the operations of the Channel in the Bronx as the Head of News, Bronx Borough. She also contributes as a Senior Reporter and a regular Host.
